General Terms
URLStart is the primary entity responsible for managing its services, including its subsidiaries. All rights are reserved by URLStart.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change and can be reviewed at any time on our official website at URLStart .
Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods for our services are available on our official website. We support Visa, UPI, RuPay, GPay, PhonePe, and Cryptocurrency.
Invoices and Late Payments
Payment invoices are generated 7 days prior to the due date. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a suspension of services, and if unpaid for an extended period, the service may be terminated. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Subscription Cancellation and Refund Policy
Subscription-based payments can be canceled at any time; however, refunds or credits are not applicable after 7 days from the payment date, and only for services covered by the Refund Policy below.
Marketing and Communication
By registering as a customer of URLStart, you agree to receive promotional emails, including offers from third-party partners. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email. All information provided during registration is subject to URLStart's Privacy Policy.
Free Migration
Free migration is only available for migrations within the same platform (e.g., cPanel to cPanel, Plesk to Plesk). We do not provide free migration between different platforms (e.g., Plesk to cPanel).
Termination
Important: Services that expire and are not renewed are suspended on the day after the due date and terminated 72 hours after the due date. This applies to hosting plans, VPS and Dedicated Servers alike. Once terminated, deleted data cannot be restored.
Clients will be notified of termination via email or phone call. URLStart will not be responsible if the client is unable to check their email or receive calls regarding renewal.
Timely renewal is crucial, as services are suspended the day after the due date and terminated 72 hours after the due date. URLStart cannot guarantee a backup in such cases. Reminder emails will be sent, but ignoring them may lead to data loss.
Service Suspension and Termination
Services may be suspended or terminated due to misuse, non-payment, or violations of the Terms of Service. For non-payment, suspension follows the day after the due date and termination 72 hours after the due date; reminder emails are sent beforehand and no further notice is given. Backups will not be available after termination.
Prohibited Content
We do not permit any adult content, including pornography or nudity. The following content is strictly prohibited. No refunds or data recovery will be possible if any of the following content is found:

- Phishing Websites
- Email Marketing
- IRC Scripts / Bots
- Proxy Scripts / Anonymizers
- Pirated Software / Warez
- Image Hosting Scripts (Photobucket-like)
- Large MP3, MP4 or ISO Collections
- Prime Banks Programs
- Lottery / Gambling Sites
- Warez Forums / Websites
- Fraudulent Sites (aa419.org listed etc.)
- Adult Content (Porn Sites)
- Push Button Mail Scripts
- Bitcoin Mining
- .tk, .ml, .cf, .ga Domains
- Hacker Focused / Exploit Sites
- Commercial Audio Streaming (2+ streams)
All shared hosting plans are for web hosting purposes only. Hosting of downloadable files such as MP3s, wallpaper downloads, movie streaming/download sites, or bot-related sites is not allowed and will be suspended without prior notice.
User Responsibilities
As a user of URLStart's services, you are responsible for ensuring that all hosted content complies with legal regulations. Unauthorized activities such as spamming, hacking, or distributing illegal content are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of services without refund or data recovery.
Payments and Refunds
Payment Terms
All services are prepaid and must be renewed before expiration. Payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and PayPal activate services immediately. Bank transfers take 1–2 working days to process.
Refund Policy
A 7-day money-back guarantee applies to Web Hosting services (Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, WordPress Hosting, and Cloud Hosting) on any billing cycle, if you have any issue with the service. Shared, Reseller, WordPress and Cloud Hosting plans are not currently offered for new orders. The terms that refer to them continue to apply to existing customers on those plans, and will apply to new orders if the plans are offered again. The guarantee does not apply to domain names, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, add-ons, control panels or licences.
Cloud VPS and Dedicated Servers are not normally refundable. Domain names, licences, control panels, add-ons and additional charges are excluded from refunds.
Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, Add-ons, and any other Cloud Services are not covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee. The exception: we refund them in any circumstance where we are unable to fulfil the service, or where the issue is on our end — a mistake, misconfiguration or fault. DDoS attacks are not considered part of this exception and do not qualify for a refund. When such a refund is approved, it is paid to your original payment method or added to your URLStart wallet, as you choose.
Fund or Credit Balance
No Refund after Fund Added to URLStart Wallet: Once funds are added to the URLStart wallet, they are non-refundable.
Refunds for Hosting via Credit Balance (from 01-Jan-2025): If you purchase hosting using the credit balance and request a refund, the refund will be credited back to your URLStart credit balance — not to your original payment method. Any requests for a refund after using the credit balance will be considered a violation of our terms.
Cancellation
Submit cancellation requests via the client area, selecting either immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the billing period. No refund will be provided for either option. For any cancellation-related requests, please contact our support team only.
Backups & Recovery
Free Backup
Free backups are a complimentary service, fully automated. We can only provide data recovery if a backup is available on our storage server.
Size Limitation
Accounts larger than 10 GB will not be included in backups.
Your Responsibility
URLStart is not responsible for files and/or data stored on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for all files and maintain appropriate backups.
Backup Policy
- Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their content.
- Daily backups are available for Web Hosting plans, retaining data for up to 1 day.
- Backups do not include emails or media files such as images and videos.
- For VPS and Dedicated Servers, paid backup solutions are recommended as they are excluded from the free backup option.
Liability Limitations
URLStart is not liable for any data loss or service interruptions beyond its control. The liability of URLStart is limited to the fees paid within the last twelve months for the respective service.
Reactivation Fee
If your server/service is suspended due to malware, phishing, prohibited content, or abuse, a reactivation fee will apply. There will be no rebates on this fee.

Before reactivating the account, the user must remove any abusive content. Failure to do so will result in permanent account suspension with prior notice, and no refund will be provided.
Mailing / Bulk Mailing / Email Spam
Zero Tolerance Spam Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsolicited emails, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists" and "double opt-in" practices will also be treated as spam. Any user found sending spam will have their account terminated without notice, and no refunds will be provided.
Mailing Policy and Limits
Sending bulk emails is not allowed on our servers. Each cPanel account is allowed to send a maximum of 300 emails per hour . If any account is found to be spamming, it will be suspended with or without notice. This applies to shared, WordPress, cloud, and reseller hosting only.
DDoS, Infected Files, Viruses & Shell Backdoor
CPGuard Plugin: The CPGuard plugin will suspend a service when more than 10 infected files are found. If infected files are cleaned and detected again, the account will be suspended. If this issue repeats, the plugin will terminate the infected files and URLStart will not be held responsible for data loss. Similar actions will be taken for DDoS attacks or unauthorized shell backdoor access.
Compliance with Laws
Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to the content they host and the usage of URLStart's services.
Prohibited Activities
Activities such as hacking, phishing, spamming, distributing illegal software, or promoting terrorism are strictly forbidden on our platform.
Account Eligibility
Information Accuracy: The account holder must provide accurate and complete information including full name, physical address, and valid email address.
Payment: The account holder must provide a valid form of payment for services they intend to use.
Prohibited Activities: The account holder must agree not to engage in any prohibited activities including hacking, spamming, or distribution of illegal content.
Termination: We reserve the right to terminate any account that violates our terms of service, without notice or refund.
Wrong Details
If the customer provides incorrect details such as an invalid email address or phone number, their account will be closed and will not be reopened until the correct details are entered.
One Account Per User
Users are not allowed to create multiple accounts on the platform. Additional accounts will be promptly closed. The system tracks duplicate accounts via IP addresses, user activity logs, and geolocation to ensure fairness and prevent misuse.
User Content and Privacy
Collecting personal data from others without consent is prohibited. Misuse of others' personal or confidential information is not allowed.
Identity Verification
URLStart may request government-issued identification and phone verification if an order appears suspicious. Some products or services may require identity verification in order to proceed with the order or account activation.
Account Security
Users are responsible for securing their account credentials. Weak passwords or unauthorized access attempts may lead to account suspension to protect the security and integrity of the account.
Resource Usage
Excessive Strain on Servers: Excessive strain on servers is not permitted. Misuse of resources including CPU, RAM, and bandwidth may result in service restrictions or suspension.
Disk Space: At least 90% of your web pages must be linked to files stored on our server. Websites with a large number of unlinked files are subject to deletion or account cancellation without prior notice.
Prohibited Downloads: Downloading websites with content like music, media (MP4), movies, software, etc., is prohibited on Linux Shared Hosting and Linux Reseller Hosting plans.
Unlimited Hosting Plans
"Unlimited Hosting" does not mean every resource is truly unlimited. Unlimited hosting is intended for necessary websites only — not for storage or backup purposes. As a shared hosting package, server resources are shared between multiple sites. If your site's resource usage impacts other sites on the server, you will be requested to move to a dedicated VPS package.
Third Party Products and Services
We do not provide support for third-party scripts, products, or services. Any issues related to third-party tools or services must be directed to the respective provider.
Service Uptime
The uptime commitment depends on the product, and is the figure stated on that product's page:
- 99.5% — Cloud VPS, Windows VPS, Gaming VPS, Minecraft VPS and n8n VPS
- 99.95% — Forex VPS, Tally on Cloud, Virtual Dedicated Servers, Dedicated Servers and Colocation
These figures exclude scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond our control. Customers will receive prior notification for any scheduled maintenance to minimize service disruption.
Bandwidth Regulations
Exceeding Allocated Bandwidth: If you exceed the allocated bandwidth, you will receive a notification. Failure to take action may result in temporary suspension of your service.
Excessive Usage: Excessive bandwidth usage that threatens server stability may require an upgrade to a VPS or may result in resource restrictions to maintain optimal performance for all users.
Unmetered Bandwidth Policy: "Unmetered" bandwidth means there is no hard data cap under normal usage — it does not mean unlimited, sustained, high-throughput consumption. It is intended for typical websites and applications with variable, bursty traffic patterns.
Fair Usage Threshold: On unmetered plans, if total data transfer in a billing cycle exceeds 20 TB , port speed will automatically be capped to 100 Mbps for the remainder of that billing cycle to preserve network stability for all customers. Full speed resumes at the start of the next billing cycle.
Prohibited Sustained Use: Unmetered bandwidth may not be used for continuous media/video streaming, CDN or content-distribution relaying, torrent seeding, backup mirroring, or any other constant, 24/7 high-bandwidth consumption. Such usage patterns are treated as abuse of the fair usage policy regardless of whether the 20 TB threshold has been crossed.
Enforcement: Accounts found in violation of this policy may have their port speed capped, resources restricted, or service suspended, in addition to (or instead of) the automatic 20 TB throttle above, entirely at URLStart's discretion.
No Refund: Speed throttling or service restriction applied under this Unmetered Bandwidth Policy — whether from crossing the 20 TB threshold or from prohibited sustained use — is a standard part of the service and does not qualify for a refund, credit, or compensation under any circumstances.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes or modifications will become effective and binding upon posting. We encourage you to review this page frequently.
Your continued use of the services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the modified Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to use or access the services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
URLStart has its registered office at H-109, Sector 63, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of URLStart's services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
