General Terms of Service (ToS)

URLStart is the primary entity managing its services, including its subsidiary HostPatch. All rights are reserved for URLStart.

User Responsibilities

• Ensure all hosted content complies with legal regulations.
• Unauthorized activities such as spamming, hacking, or distributing illegal content are strictly prohibited.

Service Suspension and Termination

• Services may be suspended or terminated due to misuse, non-payment, or violations of the Terms of Service.
• Services will terminate automatically one day after the due date without prior notification, and backups will not be available.

Payments and Refunds

Payment Terms

• All services are prepaid and must be renewed before expiration.
• Payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and PayPal activate services immediately, while bank transfers take 1-2 working days to process.

Refund Policy

• A 3-day money-back guarantee applies to Cloud Hosting and Cloud VPS, depending on the region.
• Refunds are not applicable for Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, and other specified services.
• Domain registration fees, licenses, and additional charges are excluded from refunds.

Liability Limitations

URLStart is not liable for data loss or service interruptions beyond its control. Liability is limited to fees paid within the last twelve months for the respective service.

Dispute Resolution

All disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in accordance with Indian law.

General Rules of Conduct

Compliance with Laws

• Users must adhere to all applicable laws related to hosted content and service usage.

Prohibited Activities

• Activities such as hacking, phishing, spamming, distributing illegal software, or promoting terrorism are strictly forbidden.

User Content and Privacy

• Collecting personal data from others without consent is prohibited.
• Misuse of others' personal or confidential information is not allowed.

Security Obligations

• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Bypassing or disrupting URLStart’s security measures is prohibited.
• Introducing harmful software such as viruses or Trojan horses is strictly forbidden.

Resource Usage

• Excessive strain on servers is not permitted.
• Misuse of resources, including CPU, RAM, and bandwidth, may result in service restrictions.

Identity Verification

• URLStart may request government-issued identification and phone verification if an order appears suspicious.
• Ensure account details are accurate and valid.

Service Modification and Resale

• Modifying, reproducing, or distributing URLStart’s services without authorization is prohibited.
• Reselling services without permission is not allowed.

Account Monitoring and Termination

• URLStart reserves the right to monitor accounts for illegal or suspicious activities.
• Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

Backup Policy

• Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their content.
• Daily backups are available for Cloud Hosting plans, retaining data for up to 7 days for databases and 1 day for websites.
• Backups do not include emails or media files. Paid solutions are recommended for VPS and Dedicated Servers.

Service Uptime

• URLStart aims for 99.9% uptime, excluding maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
• Customers will receive prior notification for scheduled maintenance.

Bandwidth Regulations

• Exceeding allocated bandwidth results in a notification. Failure to act may lead to temporary suspension.
• Excessive usage threatening server stability may require an upgrade to VPS or resource restrictions.

Domain Registration

Domain Availability

• URLStart cannot guarantee domain availability during registration.
• Ensure WHOIS information is accurate to avoid service disruptions.

Free Domain Offer

• Selected hosting plans include a free domain for the first year. Renewal charges apply after the initial year.

Domain Renewal

• Renewal reminders are sent one month before expiration.
• URLStart is not responsible for delays or failures in domain renewals.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Submit cancellation requests via the client area, selecting immediate or expiration-based cancellation.
• Refunds may take up to 14 days to process.
• Refunds exclude domain registration fees, licenses, and promotional discounts.
• Free domain registrations are subject to standard charges upon transfer or cancellation.

Account Security

• Users are responsible for securing their account credentials.
• Weak passwords or unauthorized access attempts may lead to account suspension.

Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify URLStart for any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their use of services.

Change of Terms

URLStart may modify these terms at any time, with immediate effect. Significant changes will be communicated in advance.
